Stress Relief Tips: Embrace Change and Let Go This Stress Awareness Month

For some much-needed stress relief this morning, I made it my mission to witness the sunrise – a simple yet rejuvenating pleasure we too often overlook when overwhelmed by stressful routines.

Lately, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and sometimes just plain exhausted. I found myself slipping back into old habits of overthinking rather than taking action on the plans I had carefully laid out.

Overdelivering is my norm—it’s not necessarily bad, but it does put unnecessary stress on my nervous system. Despite the success of my courses and the comfort and skill people are gaining from them, I felt overburdened. My projects and products align with my vision, so why is this feeling of being stretched too thin?

It’s because I am growing and evolving. New levels demand new skills that might not yet be in my repertoire. Instead of resisting, it’s crucial to dig in and embrace the changes ahead.

Letting go of old habits is necessary. It means getting uncomfortable and stretching beyond familiar limits. Then, let it overflow. It’s a messy process, but the success and fulfillment of living your best life are well worth it.

Remember, take care of yourselves. Craft a plan to manage your stress—and follow it!

Special note to my women: Stress is a silent killer, and I need you to be here. Take care of yourself, learn to set healthy boundaries, and remember NO is a complete sentence.
